Metaphors of Youth Experiences of Living with Anxiety

Dr. Roberta Woodgate and her team worked on a research study (CIHR funded study Youth Voices: Their Lives and Experiences Living with an Anxiety Disorder) with youth that detailed their experiences living with an anxiety disorder. As part of the study, she asked young people what they wanted others to know about their lives. They wanted others to know their anxiety was real. She developed a video series that attempts to do just that by bringing to life the words, metaphors and visuals from the research interviews with youth.
